Oh no I hope your weren't disappointed.

I haven't written anything here in so long. What a surprised to see I actually have some folks following this blog. And now I have a pinched nerve in my left arm and my right hand seems to have sympathy pains so I should just stop typing. Yet I must say something witty and provocative to reward you all for sticking with me. So you may have see this on my facebook, but with this current pain it bears repeating: 'What a drag it is getting old.' 

Write all day, blog all night?

Unfortunately that's not going to happen. But the events in our community this week make me think about writing something. I'm just not sure what yet. Something about monsters who live among us. Something about angels who live among us. Something about living. I hope I can work it out in my mind so I can put it into words. But it may never happen.

Why this blog?

I started this blog as a way to honor my husband, Darrell, who is living proof that you don't have to be a young punk to be a geek. Old guys can geek with the best of them, sometimes even better.  Though my geek skills are much more limited, he encourages me to continue to explore my "inner" geek, and to learn what I like to refer to as -- geek speak.  (quad core Intel 2.66 ghz with 12 gig ram with 8 cores of processing power). The man is a monster.
